Four years after the events of JURASSIC PARK, Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) is brought back into the fold by John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) to look into the circumstances on Isla Nublar’s sister island, Isla Sorna, where Hammond has confirmed that there is a whole island of dinosaur regeneration which has already caused concern with the injury to the young daughter of a British family who have stumbled on the island whilst on vacation.

On arrival at the island, he meets old flame Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) and together they discover a whole new world of dinosaurs. However, representatives of InGen, the corporation who want to use the DNA tech of dinosaurs for profit, have their own goals. What can possibly go wrong?

Well, this thrill ride makes sure it all does for the sake of entertainment – and racks up the thrills and tension ten-fold for a hugely entertaining – and in some ways superior – film to JURASSIC PARK, with exactly all the elements you hoped for in the original, but didn’t get.

It’s a triumph of digital visual effects – and throws in a few cliffhanger moments along the way (the trailer on the cliff is the best moment)

Pure entertainment.
