It was seemingly a simple task – rob a bank and get to the airport.

Grimm (Bill Murray) arrives at a New York bank with three minutes to close and robs it of  $1m, successfully achieving the initial goal, but when one of his accomplices, best friend Loomis (Randy Quaid) accidentally gives away a key clue to their whereabouts, Grimm, Loomis and Grimm’s girlfriend Phyllis (Geena Davis) find themselves in a race against time to get to the airport – and freedom.

Co-directed by Murray with Howard Franklin, this underrated comedy didn’t do all that well at the box-office on its’ original release, but is well worth checking out against some of Murray’s more familiar and successful offerings like GHOSTBUSTERS.
