Cast and creatives watched the London riverside show at Woods Quay, as 800 drones – the most-ever drones flown over the Thames – created BLACK DOVES inspired imagery and messages from the new season.

Earlier in the evening, the cast participated in a fireworks photocall overlooking London.

About BLACK DOVES S2:

"Woman in blue dress aiming a handgun with both hands in a tense indoor setting, standing by a white door with a picture frame on the beige wall in the background." — Black Doves: Season 2. (L to R) Keira Knightley as Helen Webb in Black Doves: Season 2. Cr. Courtesy of Netflix © 2026

Helen (Keira Knightley) is still betraying her nation’s secrets to the covert organisation she serves: the Black Doves. But after the misadventures of last Christmas, and with her husband Wallace (Andrew Buchan), preparing to become Prime Minister, she is walking a more treacherous line than ever.

As Helen’s enigmatic handler Mrs Reed (Sarah Lancashire) is ensnared in a ruthless plot to undermine her position in the Black Doves, Helen is reunited with her best friend Sam (Ben Whishaw).

"A man and woman sit closely indoors, facing each other with serious expressions, suggesting an intense or intimate conversation. The setting appears cozy and dimly lit, with papers and objects visible in the background." — Black Doves: Season 2. The once high-end triggerman is now reduced to lonely drinks in Soho bars and low-rate hits. As they search for answers, loyalties are weaponised, trust is shattered, and the fight to protect the people they love could cost everything.

"Two women with serious expressions holding guns descend a staircase in a warmly lit, wallpapered hallway, appearing alert and cautious as they move together through the setting." — Black Doves: Season 2. (L to R) Sarah Lancashire as Reed, Keira Knightley as Helen Webb in Black Doves: Season 2. Cr. Courtesy of Sanne Gault/Netflix © 2026

"A man, woman, two children, and a police officer stand outside a building with the number 10. The adults look serious in a formal, urban setting with a crowd in the foreground." — Black Doves: Season 2. "Two women in an ornate elevator, one aiming a gun seriously while the other stands tense in a blue dress, floral wallpaper in the background." — Black Doves: Season 2. With all the explosive wit of Series 1, Helen and Sam’s mission leads them back to old friends and enemies, through the dark decisions and painful sacrifices of their pasts, and right to the heart of the Black Doves.
