Shane McCormick’s new production company, Move Mountains Production, partnered with actor, producer and writer Josh Witcher, with the screenplay for Trapped written by Director Roland Manookian, and developed from an original story by Josh Witcher.
Trapped pays homage to Gary Oldman’s Nil by Mouth, starring Ray Winstone and exploring the devastating reality of abuse, suffering and isolation.
Producer Shane McCormick says: “Trapped shines a light on the immensely damaging cycle of violent domestic abuse, and the journey Raye takes to find her identity. We hope the film helps victims of abuse on their road of recovery.”
