One of the most successful of all the Disney animated adaptations of a classic tale, from the story by Rudyard Kipling.

Discovered in a reed cot by black panther Bagheera (Sebastian Cabot), Mowgli is first taken in by a family of wolves, but soon the young boy has to leave the pack due to the imminent arrival of evil man-eater tiger Shere Khan.

Bagheera takes Mowgli away on his journey to find a safer place. Along the way, he encounters friendly bear Baloo, determined snake Kaa and a few others along the way, but in the midst of all that, they get to sing a few songs or two….

The old jokey adage ‘IT’S A JUNGLE OUT THERE!’ has never been more fun or truer than in this fun-for-all romp, with catchy songs, timeless and assured animation – and a film that has defined many a child’s viewing habits, at a snappy 75 minutes.
